Hi!

My name is Gian Lorenzo and I am an amateur (almost self-taught) player from Milan. Apart from a few rare live games (even years later), it can be said that I started playing chess at the end of July last year. I am, very slowly, understanding the dynamics behind this game.

I like listening to music and watching movies/TV serials. I also have the compulsion to buy more books than I can read.

I have no interest in soccer. Rather, as a team sport, I have the utmost respect for cheerleaders.

I created a club, Palotto, with the idea of bringing together people who want to improve their game by comparing strategies and tactics, analyzing their own or others' games, like an authentic study group.
