 I am Elena from Virginia, United States. Last year, I got an amazing chess coach, @Alexander_Da_Gr8. Suddenly, I got so interested in chess, that I study and play so much! You may see me online a LOT! My dream is to become a Grandmaster, or even a world champion! Also, you might be asking, why I'm suddenly so interested in chess. I actually don't know the answer myself! Chess is my favorite game ever, and I enjoy the tactics, strategy, fun, learning, etc. My favorite chess player is Judit Polgar, or, @JuditPolgar. She inspires me so much, and motivate me to keep trying. She also has two other sisters, Susan Polgar and Sophia Polgar. (I think it's very rare that all three sisters are interested in chess) Some sexists say "Females shouldn't mess with intellectual things, chess isn't for them. They belong at home." I disagree on that. There are many amazing female players, and I hope to be one myself. "We are capable of the same fight as any man. It's not a matter of gender, it's a matter of being smart."-Judit Polgar I do hope other women, girls, men, and boys get inspired by this. Also, the reason I am Tactical Fighting Queen is because my coach said I'm really good at tactics, I fight a lot in chess, and the queen is my favorite chess piece. Also, queen is perfect because I am a queen! No, I don't actually like fighting, but I do like it in chess. After my coach suggested it, enjoyed that name very much Thank you so much for reading!

Don't care about animal cruelty? Well, you should! Every sixty seconds one animal suffers abuse. Don't think "At least they don't die, right?" because they do. Every year in just the USA, over 10 million animals die from abuse. Wanna know something even worse? Animals are tortured and killed, and about 97% of them are farm animals. Speaking of torture, what about lab experiments? Well, every year, over 115 million animals are used in experiments around the world. Approximately 75,000 dogs are tortured in US labs every year. Also in the US are more than 10,000 puppy mills. Don't know what a puppy mill is? They are places where female dogs are pressured to make puppies, then the puppies stay in overcrowded places where the puppies are likely to get sick. Another animal that is special is elephants, who have ivory tusks so that makes them very valuable to poachers. Between 35,000-50,000 are poached every year. In the 21st century, there are more elephants being poached than being born. What about the animals in the ocean? Well, over 100 million sharks are killed every year illegally, mainly for shark fin soup. Now, one last thing. Cages. What happens when cages and animals mix? Well, if you add in the circus, you find out that circus animals spend 96% of their lives in cages. Imagine being stuck in a cage your entire life, letting people gawk at you. All living things have a right to live on this Earth but, we, very often become, totally, insensitive to their pain, only because animal can’t speak the language of humans, they don’t have a voice.
Animals and birds, just like us have sense organs to feel pain and love.
Many animals like cow, goat, sheep, hen, fishes, rabbits etc are slaughtered for meat, eggs of ducks and hens are taken away and sold as food, the wool of sheep is taken for leather, various other animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, mouse, frogs etc are slaughtered for research and experimental purposes. Animal sacrifice for the sake of religious practices are also in vogue for many centuries. Apart from that, birds are caged for entertainment, horses, camels, elephants, donkeys etc are treated badly for carrying loads on their back, various animals are tortured for entertainment in circus etc. Such cruelty towards animals must be stopped and they should be allowed to survive in peace and harmony just like us. Animals are sentient creatures who deserve our respect and protection. Every 60 seconds, one animal suffers abuse. Each year, over 100 million animals are killed for their fur.7.8 billions animals are killed every year for food. So, it’s high time we take step to conserve the bio-diversity the nature gifted us with.

 When we buy shampoo or cosmetics at the store, if you look on the back of the bottle, you would likely see a sticker that says “not tested on animals” or “no animals were harmed in the process” etc. This makes us think “alright I guess this is safe to use I mean no animals were harmed right?” wrong. Under our noses, we have a huge problem. We always notice that most companies don’t use animal testing, and that’s a good thing, but every day animals are hurt and even killed because of this. Think about it, is it really worth a rabbit’s life just for your hair to smell nice? All life is important, but that doesn’t mean we’re more important than the rest. Animal testing has brought harm onto millions of animals a year and for what? Next time you go to the store, think about it, is it really worth an animal’s life?
